Public Relations Internship - For Credit Only

Responsibilities
The PR Intern will learn how to:
- Sample track using GPS and maintain the master closet at all times
- Create shipments, packaging and tracking all pick-ups and special deliveries or standard shipments
- Maintenance showroom, will include setting up looks for market, special meetings, VIP fittings and stylist pulls
- Update and maintain database
- Manage social media: help with posts and maintain social media on all platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
- Assist with production of photo shoots and fashion presentations

Requirements
- Enrolled in an Associate’s/ Bachelor’s/ Master’s program at an accredited college or university with a major or minor in PR/Marketing (not required)
- Computer skills to include Word, Excel and email
- Social Media experience is preferred
- Strong leadership, creative thinking, and problem solving skills
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- A positive, outgoing, high energy personality that is entrepreneurial
- A multi-tasker, proactively seeks out opportunities to support the team with a can-do and follow- through attitude
- Work well in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Previous Fashion PR experience is preferred
- 3-5 full days are required
- College credit is required
